Box Truck Driver

Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured according to safety standards. Navigate using GPS systems to follow optimized delivery routes while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and delivery records in accordance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving. Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient deliveries. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and confidently. Understanding of FMCSA regulations and DOT standards. Strong manual handling skills for load & unload tasks while maintaining safety protocols. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with over-the-road (OTR) driving routes preferred.
