Box Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering general freight efficiently and safely to various destinations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating box trucks, including handling lift gate operations and moving freight both at the dock and on the road. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Load and unload freight at the dock, utilizing lift gates as necessary. Move freight within the dock area and ensure proper handling during loading and unloading processes. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues. Assist with general warehouse or dock duties as needed. Qualifications Proven experience driving box trucks, including lift gate operation. Valid driver’s license appropriate for operating a commercial vehicle of this size. Clean driving record with a focus on safety. Ability to lift heavy freight and perform physically demanding tasks when required. Good organizational skills and attention to detail for managing delivery schedules and documentation. Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
