Box Truck Driver(16-24FT) Independant courier contractor

Job Overview As an independent courier, you’ll drive a 16–24-foot box truck to deliver and move goods safely and reliably. You’ll handle route driving, customer interactions, and loading and unloading, using mobile devices to manage delivery details. This role suits someone who combines commercial driving skills with a hands-on, service-focused approach. Responsibilities Drive a box truck on assigned routes and complete deliveries accurately and on schedule. Load and unload freight, perform manual handling and heavy lifting, and use a pallet jack or other material handling equipment when appropriate. Follow safe lifting practices, workplace weight-handling procedures, and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and traffic rules. Use mobile devices to review routes, record delivery information, and communicate updates. Provide courteous customer service and maintain safe, professional delivery practices. Your impact: Careful handling and dependable deliveries help customers receive their goods safely and on time. Requirements Experience in delivery driving, courier work, van driving, or commercial truck driving; box truck experience is valuable. A valid driver’s license and ability to meet applicable requirements for commercial. Safe driving habits, knowledge of traffic regulations, and comfort with route driving; manual transmission experience is a plus. Ability to perform warehouse operations, moving, and physical tasks that include lifting and loading. Warehouse experience, material handling equipment operation, and personal vehicle delivery experience are helpful but not required. Pay: $360.00 per day Work Location: On the road
