Box Truck Delivery Helper/ $500 SOB

Job Summary Looking for a hands-on position with an established transportation company? CMCI has been in business since 2014, and we have an extensive record in the delivery business. We are currently hiring dependable, hardworking Delivery Helpers for our Home Depot/Temco appliance delivery operation. As a Helper, you will work alongside an experienced driver as part of a two-person team, delivering appliances and performing light installations when needed to residential customers. This position is a gateway to a career as a full-time driver, as our company is currently growing rapidly. Responsibilities Load and unload appliance deliveries; handle and move items using safe lifting practices and appropriate material handling equipment, Safely move appliances into customers' homes using appropriate equipment. Assist with light installations as trained and authorized. Protect customers' floors, walls, and property. Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck. Provide professional customer service. Follow warehouse operations procedures, traffic regulations, and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Experience Warehouse experience, delivery driver experience, or experience as a courier or van driver is helpful. Previous appliance installation experience a plus. Familiarity with commercial driving, commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or personal vehicle delivery is a plus. Able to perform heavy lifting and workplace weight handling, and to load and unload items safely. Experience with manual handling, moving, warehouse operations, material handling equipment, or a pallet jack is an asset. What We Offer New trucks, maintained regularly by our certified technicians.
