Bottle Sorter/Shipper
New Star Capital Group of Companies* Please note we do not have LMIA’s or staff accommodations for this position* Banff Bottle Depot is looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated individual to join our team as a Bottle Sorter/Shipper. This is a physically active position that involves sorting recyclable beverage containers, preparing shipments, assisting with daily depot operations and maintaining a clean and organized workplace. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, can maintain a steady work pace and takes pride in doing their job accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Sort, count and organize recyclable beverage containers accurately and efficiently. Prepare, package and organize materials for shipment. Load and unload trucks and assist with shipping and receiving. Operate forklifts and other equipment when trained and authorized. Assist customers with their beverage container returns as required. Maintain an organized and efficient work area. Complete basic shipping and inventory documentation. Follow all workplace health and safety procedures. Perform general cleaning and other depot duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in a bottle depot, warehouse or physically demanding environment is an asset but not required. Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Reliable, punctual and committed to scheduled shifts. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Forklift experience is an asset, but training may be provided. Priority will be given to those who apply in person at the bottle depot.
