Bottle Filler/Line Operator (Material Handler) - 1st & 2nd Shift Available

First Shift 6:30am-3pm and Second Shift 2:45pm-11:15pm The Bottle Filler Line Operator performs a variety of manual and mechanical packaging functions. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: · Performs simple in-process inspections for quality. Quality checks may include: checking for presence and quality of printed lot number, expiration date and sequential number code on shipping cartons. Inspects product and/or components for conformity to quality standards. Calls out from production all, dirty, damaged or non-conforming filled goods and/or components. · Packages containers into cartons, tapes cartons and places on pallet · Applies product information or date coding onto shipping cartons on the packaging line. · Applies closures to filled containers on a packaging line, maintaining speed of application with the speed of the line. · Maintain packing rate which keeps up with the speed of the line · Performs cleaning of packaging equipment and facilities as directed by Line Leader. · Performs cleaning of general workstation and complies with current good manufacturing practices. Requirements: Good Listening and comprehension skills. Must be able to lift 15-20lbs. May require bending, carrying, pushing, kneeling, standing for long periods of time.
