Now Hiring: Business Development Representative – For Our Botanical Department Join an established industry leader with more than 70 years of experience serving the floral and plant communities. Our company distributes fresh-cut flowers, plants, floral décor, and a full line of floral supplies throughout New England, building long-standing relationships with florists, supermarkets, garden centers, event professionals, and other floral businesses. We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Account and Business Development Representative to help expand our customer base and support continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with plant science or floral industry experience who are looking to transition into a professional sales and business development role. Ideal backgrounds include: Retail flower shops Garden centers and nurseries Floral design and event design Wholesale floral distribution Plant and garden retailers Other plant and horticultural-related industries Interest in learning * Key Responsibilities: Develop new business opportunities and cultivate customer relationships. Promote and sell our portfolio of plants, floral and a full line of floral supplies. Support sales growth through prospecting, account development and customer engagement. Serve as a trusted resource for customers regarding products, industry trends, and merchandising opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for expansion. Qualifications: Experience working with Horticulture, fresh-cut flowers, plants, floral supplies, or floral décor is highly desirable. Backgrounds in garden centers, nurseries or retail floral, wholesale floral, are strongly encouraged. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated with a desire to succeed in a sales-driven environment. Professional demeanor and commitment to customer service excellence.
