BONDED WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR
Denver Intermodal ExpressPOSITION SUMMARY Owns the administrative and system control of DIX3 bonded activity, including Extensive transactions, bonded inventory records, supporting receipt/movement/release documentation, reconciliation, release-document verification and audit readiness. PRIMARY AUTHORITY Maintain and control bonded WMS records and supporting warehouse documentation. Verify required release documentation/authorization is present before outbound bonded processing. Stop or hold processing when documentation, inventory or release instructions are incomplete or questionable. Coordinate bonded cycle counts and independently reconcile physical inventory to Extensive/supporting records. Route inventory adjustments/corrections to the Warehouse Supervisor for approval before posting. Does not independently authorize Customs release. CORE JOB DUTIES Maintain accurate bonded inventory records, locations and transaction history in Extensive. Maintain supporting receiving, storage, movement and release documentation for bonded merchandise. Verify required release documentation/authorization is present before outbound bonded activity is processed. Process warehouse release only after required authorization is received; do not independently authorize Customs release. Coordinate bonded receiving, movements, picks, staging and releases with the DIX3 Warehouse Lead. Independently reconcile physical bonded inventory to Extensive/supporting records and coordinate cycle counts. Route inventory adjustments/corrections to the Warehouse Supervisor for approval before posting. Research and document shortages, overages, damages, incorrect locations and unexplained inventory discrepancies. Maintain organized, retrievable records for internal review and audit readiness. Ensure bonded transactions are documented as activity occurs rather than recreated after the fact. Stop and escalate missing documentation, questionable release instructions, unexplained discrepancies or other compliance concerns. Communicate bonded status and exceptions to the Warehouse Supervisor and appropriate internal teams. Ability to do the following: picking up trash, sweeping, snow removal, and dumping trash cans. Communicate exceptions promptly and escalate issues outside the position's authority.
