Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Boiler and Pressure Vessel Quality Control (Q.C.) Engineer to ensure the safety, compliance, and quality standards of boilers and pressure vessels throughout the manufacturing process. In this role, you will lead quality assurance initiatives, oversee inspection procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold rigorous industry standards. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement, uphold regulatory compliance, and ensure that all products meet the highest safety and quality benchmarks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment dedicated to excellence in engineering and safety in a 108 year old boiler manufacturing company. Duties Implement, and maintain quality control protocols for boilers and pressure vessels in accordance with industry standards such as ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes and other relevant regulations. Conduct detailed inspections and testing of pressure vessels and boiler components to verify compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements including ASME, ANSI regulations, and legal standards. Manage supplier quality assurance activities by evaluating vendor processes, conducting supplier audits, and ensuring sourcing practices meet stringent quality standards in production. Collaborate with engineering team on process engineering improvements Experience Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role within the boiler or pressure vessel industry. Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance practices aligned with ASME and related standards. Background in supplier management practices including vendor quality assurance and supply chain oversight. Mechanical knowledge pertinent to pressure vessel design, fabrication processes, assembly techniques, and regulatory compliance requirements including basic welding procedures. Experience conducting audits for regulatory/legal compliance standards in production environments involving complex machinery or safety-critical components.
