JOB SUMMARY The Blending Manager will oversee all aspects of manufacturing, ensuring that blending, formulation, and bulk finished goods packaging operations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, developing and mentoring team members, and serving as a key communication link between the blending floor, management team, and C-Suite executives. JOB DUTIES 1. Oversee daily production activities to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing of liquid supplements. 2. Monitor equipment, materials, and labor to meet production schedules and quality standards. 3. Coordinate with R&D and procurement for ingredient sourcing, formulation changes, and scaling up production. 4. Maintain and improve SOPs for blending, filling, and packaging operations. 5. Inspecting products for damage before shipment and reporting any discrepancies. 6. Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management software. 7. Manage blending, formulation, and process execution to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to specifications 8. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, quality, and safety standards. 9. Develop, coach, and lead manufacturing staff, fostering technical expertise, accountability, and professional growth. 10. Collaborate closely with the C-Suite and management team, providing regular updates on production performance, capacity planning, and operational improvements. 11. Lead employee safety training, risk assessments, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. 12. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize processes. 13. Assist with QA/QC activities, including testing, inspections, and corrective actions to maintain compliance with FDA, GMP, and internal standards. 14. Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to avoid supply disruptions. 15. Partner with Research & Development to evaluate feasibility of new product concepts, including material compatibility, process scalability, and equipment capability. 16. Provide technical feedback to Research & Development regarding manufacturability, process efficiency, and cost optimization for new product launches. 17. Document and refine new production procedures for novel formulations and packaging types. At all times, employees will be required to follow any instructions and to perform any duties as seen necessary by the requesting supervisor, manager or member of the executive management team how does this look QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 1. 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, purchasing, or warehouse role; experience in the supplement or food industry is highly desirable. 2. Strong understanding of GMP, FDA, HACCP, and OSHA compliance. 3. Proficiency in inventory and purchasing systems (e.g., ERP software). 4. Excellent organizational, and cross-functional communication skills. 5. Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. 6. Comfortable working in a production and warehouse environment. 7. Experience with food or supplement development PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 1.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 45 pounds on a regular basis. 2.Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday. 3.Ability to perform repetitive motions involving the hands, wrists, and arms. 4.Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
