Bilingual Transportation Coordinator/Driver

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This position provides transportation to patients via Heartland Health Center's van to and from their homes to their appointments. The individual in this position may assist with other duties to include clerical and administrative tasks as assigned. This position requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as a high level of flexibility and reliability QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 21 years or older High school diploma or GED required Bilingual in English/Spanish required Able to provide excellent customer service, internally and externally. Able to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Must possess exceptional communication skills Ability to use independent judgment to complete tasks Must perform duties independently and as team member Ability to maintain a very high level of confidentiality Computer literate in email, word processing, office management system software. Meets driving record criteria for Insurance purposes. Displays and obeys all traffic laws and company policies while driving in company vehicle. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Administration Assist with Administrative tasks as assigned, this may include preparing mail, completing compilation of data and compiling reports, and taking deposits to the bank. Performs other jobs or duties as requested or assigned. Van Driver Transport patients between their home and Heartland Health Center in the company van Ensure vehicle is adequately fueled Vacuum and wash the van as needed Schedule maintenance appointments for the van as needed Follow established policies and procedures Pay: From $18.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Grand Island, NE 68803 (Required) Work Location: In person
