Bilingual OTR Truck Dispatcher

We are looking for an experienced bilingual OTR truck dispatcher who can independently find and book loads, coordinate drivers, and manage daily dispatch operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes ownership of their work, and follows each load through to completion. Duties: Independently source and book loads, negotiate rates with brokers and customers, and secure profitable freight. Plan routes and driver schedules to maximize truck utilization and minimize empty miles. Receive and process customer orders, confirming load details and pickup and delivery appointments. Dispatch drivers and provide clear load information and instructions. Communicate with drivers, brokers, and customers throughout each shipment. Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) and GPS tracking tools to monitor trucks and update shipment status. Handle delays, appointment changes, and other operational issues promptly. Maintain accurate load records, enter shipment information, and collect PODs and other required paperwork. Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs with drivers and fleet personnel. Skills and Requirements: At least 2 years of OTR truck dispatch experience; 3–5 years preferred. Proven ability to independently find and book loads and negotiate competitive rates. Bilingual: fluent in English and at least one additional language , such as Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Hindi, Punjabi, or another Indian language. Strong knowledge of trucking operations, load boards, route planning, and driver hours-of-service requirements. Proficiency with TMS software, GPS tracking systems, and accurate data entry. Professional phone etiquette and strong communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Responsible, organized, and proactive, with consistent follow-through. Must be punctual and able to begin work at our Pico Rivera office at 5:30 AM .
