Avante Orthopaedics is seeking a bright, energetic and highly versatile Bilingual Medical Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This is not simply a front-desk position. We are looking for someone who can become an important part of our practice—helping with patient operations, scheduling, clinical coordination, community outreach and the day-to-day activities required to build an exceptional medical practice. Our services include: ● Orthopaedic urgent care and same/next-day appointments ● Specialty orthopaedic care ● Digital X-ray ● Physical therapy ● Joint and soft-tissue injections ● Regenerative medicine, including PRP ● In-office procedures ● Surgical evaluation and coordination ● Telehealth We are building a modern, accessible practice focused on excellent care, convenience and an outstanding patient experience. --- THE ROLE This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety and wants to understand how a medical practice really works. You will work closely with physicians, clinical staff and practice leadership and have exposure to multiple aspects of healthcare operations. Patient & Front-Office Operations ● Welcome, check in and check out patients ● Schedule appointments, procedures and follow-up visits ● Answer phones and respond professionally to patient inquiries ● Assist Spanish-speaking patients throughout their experience with the practice ● Help patients navigate appointments, referrals and treatment plans ● Provide excellent, compassionate customer service Clinical & Provider Support ● Prepare charts for clinic ● Assist with EMR documentation and administrative workflow ● Coordinate patient follow-up ● Assist with surgical scheduling and coordination ● Help obtain records, imaging and authorizations ● Candidates with appropriate training may assist with blood draws for PRP and other permitted clinical activities Practice Operations ● Help maintain efficient daily clinic flow ● Assist with inventory, supplies and procurement ● Identify opportunities to improve office workflow ● Coordinate with providers, therapists and outside facilities ● Support special projects as the practice expands Community Outreach & Growth ● Help Avante develop relationships within the local Spanish-speaking community ● Assist with community events and outreach programs ● Support patient education initiatives ● Assist with basic marketing and social media activities when needed --- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required. This position regularly communicates directly with Spanish-speaking patients and requires the ability to communicate clinical and administrative information accurately and professionally in both languages. Experience in orthopaedics, surgery, physical therapy, medical scheduling, insurance authorization or EMR systems is particularly valuable.
