Tolar ManufacturingJob Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bilingual Inventory Cycle Counting and Plant Layout Optimization Industrial Engineer to join our innovative manufacturing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate inventory management through efficient cycle counting procedures, optimizing plant layout for maximum productivity, and applying industrial engineering principles to streamline processes. Duties Lead and execute comprehensive inventory cycle counting programs to ensure precise stock levels and minimize discrepancies across all warehouse zones. Analyze inventory data using engineering data analysis techniques to identify root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Develop and refine plant layouts utilizing AutoCAD, CAD software, and Schematics to optimize material flow, reduce waste, and improve safety standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, maintenance, and production planning to drive process improvements aligned with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Utilize industrial automation tools such as vision inspection systems, robot programming, and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) to enhance manufacturing processes. Apply process engineering methodologies to streamline assembly lines, improve welding procedures, and optimize plastics injection molding operations. Lead projects focused on continuous improvement initiatives using project scheduling, project management experience in manufacturing, and industrial engineering best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field; advanced certifications such as Six Sigma or Lean management are highly preferred. Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role within a factory or manufacturing facility environment. Strong knowledge of CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo; familiarity with schematics and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes such as plastics injection molding, welding, assembly line operations, and industrial automation systems. Proficiency in engineering troubleshooting, root cause analysis, process improvement techniques, and quality improvement programs in engineering. Skilled in project scheduling, factory experience, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration across diverse departments. Familiarity with vision inspection systems, CAD schematics, robot programming, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial automation tools is a plus.
