Bilingual International Logistics & Ocean Freight Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced logistics professional with strong ocean freight knowledge and carrier negotiation skills to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Manage ocean import and export shipments from origin to final delivery. Coordinate bookings with ocean carriers, NVOCCs, trucking companies, and warehouses. Negotiate freight rates, service contracts, and pricing agreements with shipping lines and logistics providers. Source and negotiate drayage and inland transportation services. Prepare and review customer quotations and pricing proposals. Coordinate customs clearance and ensure accurate shipping documentation. Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive updates to customers. Review carrier contracts, tariffs, and service agreements. Handle hazardous cargo shipments in compliance with IMO regulations. Maintain accurate records and shipment visibility within Magaya software. Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs while maintaining service levels. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or ocean transportation. Strong knowledge of: Ocean Import & Export Operations Freight Forwarding FCL & LCL Shipments Incoterms Bills of Lading Customs Documentation Port & Terminal Operations Drayage & Intermodal Transportation Carrier Contracts & Rate Negotiations Proficient in Magaya Logistics Software. IMO Certification (or prior experience handling dangerous goods shipments). Experience negotiating Ocean Freight Rates Service Contracts with Shipping Lines Drayage and Trucking Pricing Vendor and Carrier Agreements Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
