Bilingual Delivery Dispatcher (English / Spanish)

About us ILYA Enterprise is a last-mile delivery company in Louisville. Our drivers deliver packages every day across the Louisville area, and our dispatch team keeps them supported, on time and safe. We care about doing the job right: every package, every route, every day. The role We're looking for a bilingual dispatcher who can do more than watch a screen. You'll run the day: read how routes are going, decide where help is needed, and act before small problems become big ones. You'll talk with drivers all day in English and Spanish, protect our scorecard, and close out the day on your own. What you'll do Watch every route live and spot drivers who are falling behind before it's too late Plan the day: decide who goes out for a rescue, who helps whom, and when to move packages between drivers Make quick decisions under pressure and explain them clearly to drivers Coach drivers on marking packages correctly, using the right return reason codes and photo-on-delivery standards Understand the scorecard: what counts for us, what counts against us, and how one wrong scan or code affects the whole team Keep returned packages to a minimum, and when a package does come back, make sure the correct return process is followed every time Prepare and organize driver bags with the supplies they need for the day Fix problems as they come up: addresses that are hard to find, vehicle problems, customer issues, late routes Drive out to help drivers in an emergency or to handle issues on the road when needed Close the station on your own at the end of the day, with returns checked, drivers accounted for and notes complete Work closely with the other dispatchers and management, and follow instructions carefully What we're looking for Fluent in English and Spanish. You'll talk with drivers in both all day, by phone and by text. Experience as a dispatcher, lead driver or driver at an Amazon Delivery Service Partner is strongly preferred Experience with Amazon delivery tools (Cortex, scorecards, return codes) is a big plus Strong attention to detail. You notice what others miss. Proactive. You act before you're asked.
