Responsibilities Perform comprehensive bicycle repairs including brake adjustments, suspension servicing, gear tuning, and wheel truing to ensure optimal performance. Conduct symptom-based mechanical diagnosis to identify issues quickly and accurately. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized mechanical systems to assemble, repair, and maintain bicycles efficiently. Assist customers with retail sales by explaining repair options, recommending accessories, and providing expert advice on cycling needs. Manage maintenance work on bicycles and related equipment, ensuring all repairs meet safety standards. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions and inventory management. Handle heavy lifting of bicycles and parts safely during repairs or stock replenishment to maintain a safe workspace. Ability to think outside the box to fix problems through non traditional methods Experience Proven service technician experience with a strong background in bicycle repair or vehicle maintenance. Hands-on experience with suspension systems, brake repair, mechanical assembly, and mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of symptom-based diagnosis techniques for mechanical issues across various bicycle types. Familiarity with retail sales processes, POS systems, retail math, and customer service principles. Experience working with maintenance, repair and operations, power tools, hand tools, and heavy lifting tasks. Prior experience in cycling or related sports is highly desirable to better understand customer needs and product specifics.
