Position Summary The Beverage Operations Manager is responsible for leading and executing beverage operations that support the hotel's banquet, catering, and special event business. Reporting to the Banquet Manager and Director of Culinary & Event Services, this role serves as a key operational partner in the planning, coordination, and execution of beverage service and related event experiences. The Beverage Operations Manager works closely with the Banquet Manager to ensure seamless event execution, exceptional guest experiences, luxury service standards, and achievement of financial and operational objectives. This position supports beverage program development, service execution, revenue growth, inventory and cost controls, colleague training, and continuous improvement across event operations. This leader champions beverage excellence while supporting the success of the hotel's catering, banquet, and special event business. Essential functions include but are not limited to: Develop, maintain, and continually enhance beverage offerings for banquet, catering, and special event operations. Partner with Culinary and Event Services leadership to coordinate cohesive food and beverage experiences. Monitor industry and guest trends and recommend products, services, and experiences that enhance guest engagement and profitability. Support the Banquet Manager with the planning, preparation, and successful execution of weddings, social events, corporate meetings, galas, and other special events. Collaborate with Event Sales and Event Planning teams to create customized beverage services and experiences for clients. Support the Banquet Manager with essential functions such as payroll, scheduling, staffing coordination, and on-the-floor support during events. Oversee beverage inventory, organization, ordering, and procurement processes. Build relationships with vendors, distributors, and winery partners. Assist in developing annual beverage budgets and forecasting. Train and develop banquet colleagues on beverage service, product knowledge, preparation and presentation, responsible alcohol service, and luxury hospitality standards. Maintain compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations. Monitor inventory controls, ordering procedures, and cost-management practices. Qualifications Required Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in beverage, restaurant, banquet, or luxury hotel operations. Broad knowledge of beverage products, service standards, and operating practices, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic offerings. Demonstrated ability to support beverage program development, service execution, and continuous improvement. Strong written / verbal communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to drive sales and guest satisfaction. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require. TABC Certification Preferred Luxury hotel or resort experience. Experience supporting banquet or event operations. Certified Sommelier designation or equivalent wine certification.
