Beer Sales / Delivery Driver

Overview This is a dual purpose job of selling beer which is commissioned based and delivering beer which is hourly pay. Requires heavy lifting. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Deliver beer products efficiently to retail outlets, restaurants, and direct customers while maintaining accurate delivery logs. Build strong customer relationships through friendly communication, prompt service, and professional merchandising of products. Manage route driving schedules effectively to ensure timely deliveries and optimize daily routes for efficiency. Assist with product pricing strategies and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities during deliveries. Conduct heavy lifting and proper handling of products to prevent damage or injury, following safe lifting practices at all times. Maintain organized records of deliveries, route documentation, and client interactions for seamless operations. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial driving, including automobile transportation or commercial truck driving. Strong knowledge of route driving, sales techniques, and customer relationship building skills. Familiarity with retail store environments and merchandising standards is a plus. Basic math skills for pricing calculations and inventory management. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of the role. Knowledge of DOT regulations governing commercial vehicle operation is highly desirable.
