Delivery Driver for Delivery Service Partners (DSP) Job Title: Delivery Driver (NON DOT) Employment Status: Full-Time Shifts: Weekdays and Weekends - 9:45 am - 8:15 pm (Only one shift available) Location: 3221 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Abbeville, LA 70510 Compensation: Starting pay $23.00/hour or up to $230.00 per day Are you seeking a new opportunity that allows for independent work, contributes positively to your community, and brings joy to numerous customers each day? What You'll Do: As a Delivery Driver, you are expected to deliver 300-450 packages daily, majority being small items weighing less than 5lbs. However, there are overflow packages weighing up to 50lbs. In this role you serve as a delivery hero within the community, enhancing customer satisfaction by delivering essential supplies, household goods, toys, and so much more. Employees can expect to work 3 - 4 days per week, with shifts lasting up to 10 hours daily. Must be able to move boxes and deliver up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be able to get in and out of the van at least 150 to 220 times per day to provide exceptional customer service during a 10 hour shift. Must effectively navigate through heavy traffic and rural areas safely. Providing exceptional customer service is a must. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs, bend, twist, reach overhead to grab packages, climb up to 3 flights of stairs with packages, and stand, walk, or sit for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be able to drive at night, and in various weather conditions. Must have reliable transportation to and from work is required.
