Battery Sales / Warehouse associate

Prairie Battery is looking for a positive, energetic, self starter to join our team at our Brandon Location. Applicants must possess strong interpersonal skills, good communication and have a sales driven focus. This is an exciting opportunity in the vast growing battery industry. Prairie Battery is a fast growing Family owned company with 5 major warehouses that service’s dealers all over Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan & Alberta. The successful applicant will be provided onsite training with future room to grow within the company. This is a specialized field so learning about batteries and battery related items is a must as the industry is always evolving. Previous battery sales or related experience considered an asset but not required. Applicants must have a Valid class 5 driver’s license. This will be a full time position from 8-5 pm with a rotational Saturday shift of 10am -1 pm. Driver's license is mandatory. Duties include but not limited to: - Delivering to dealers around the City of Brandon - Receive & ship orders, load route trucks. - Regular cleaning of retail and warehouse space & vehicles - Stocking retail space & maintaining stock - Answering phones and helping customers - Selling of batteries and related accessories Prairie Battery does offer Group Health Benefits Group RRSP with Company match (After 1 year of employment) Competitive wages based on salary Profit sharing and commission will begin after the 90 day probationary period has been completed.
