Batch Maker / Forklift Operator Chempace | Toledo, OH area | Full-Time | [Shift: 1st/2nd] About Us Chempace is a growing chemical company in the Toledo area. We produce industrial cleaners, coolants and lubricants, and wastewater treatment products, and we provide bottling and small packaging services. We're adding to our production team and want dependable, safety-minded people who take pride in their work. The Role As a Batch Maker / Forklift Operator, you'll blend chemical batches to exact formulas and move materials safely around our facility. Accuracy, safety, and reliability matter in this job, and we'll train the right person on our processes. What You'll Do Measure, weigh, and blend raw materials following batch tickets and formulas Monitor mixing and record batch information accurately Collect samples for quality checks and make adjustments as directed Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, stage raw materials, and move finished goods Handle and transfer drums, totes, and bulk containers safely Help with bottling, filling, labeling, and packaging as needed Keep work areas, tanks, and equipment clean and organized Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE use and safe chemical handling Help with inventory counts and keep material records accurate What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED Forklift experience preferred Experience in chemical blending, manufacturing, or warehouse work preferred Able to read and follow written instructions, measurements, and SDS sheets Basic math skills for weighing and measuring Strong safety focus and attention to detail Able to lift up to [50] lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a production setting Reliable attendance and a good team attitude Willing to wear required PPE (respirator, gloves, goggles, etc.) What We Offer Pay: $22–$28 per hour, based on experience Overtime opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) / retirement plan Paid time off and holidays On-the-job training and room to grow with the company Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week Work Location: In person
