Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Store Manager to lead our bustling ice cream shop to new heights! Duties Oversee daily store operations, including food preparation, inventory control, and cash handling to ensure smooth functioning Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and team management to deliver outstanding customer service Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and sales tracking Ensure food safety standards are maintained through proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen management practices Monitor inventory levels regularly, place orders as needed, and control food costs to maximize profitability Supervise shift management activities including scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and ensuring operational consistency Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a strong hospitality team Requirements Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a background in food preparation and kitchen operations Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience in hospitality or food service environments Knowledge of food safety regulations and food industry standards; culinary or fine dining experience is a plus Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, inventory control, and profit analysis Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as staff training, team leadership, and customer interaction Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze profit & loss statements, and implement cost-saving initiatives Candidate Qualifications Minimum Requirements Cake Decorating Proficiency : Demonstrated skill in cake design, icing, piping, border work, and custom lettering. Candidates may be asked to showcase a portfolio or complete a brief practical assessment. Minimum Availability : Must be available to work a minimum of 4 days per week. Schedule flexibility is essential, as the role requires working peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and key holidays. Management Experience : At least 1–2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a quick-service restaurant (QSR), retail, or food service environment. Food Safety Certification : Valid Food Handler certification or Food Protection Manager certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Preferred Qualifications Baskin Robbins Experience : Prior experience working in a Baskin Robbins or dual-brand Dunkin'/Baskin Robbins store is strongly preferred and highly valued.
