Bank Operations Quality Analyst


Location: Community Bank Operations Center, Waynesburg, PA
Reports To: SVP, Loan Operations

 

Position Summary

The Bank Operations Quality Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy and compliance within the bank’s operational processes for client account set up and ongoing account maintenance. This position focuses primarily on validating new account setups and maintenance activities which have been completed with the use of robotic automation, as well as other quality assurance functions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and critical thinking, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.  This position will research and resolve quality control exceptions and maintain related documentation.  

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance & Validation
    1. Review and validate the automated review of new account setups for accuracy against a variety of source documents and data, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
    2. Audit account maintenance exceptions to ensure proper documentation and adherence to established procedures.
    3. Identify discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    1. Maintain awareness of regulatory guidelines and internal controls related to account management and transaction processing.
    2. Assist in implementing process improvements to reduce errors and enhance efficiency.
  • Reporting & Documentation
    1. Prepare and maintain accurate records of validation activities and findings.
    2. Provide feedback and recommendations to management regarding quality trends and potential risks.
    3. Working with technical resources, will have the opportunity to recommend ideas for streamline and automation of steps and tasks within the overall Quality Control function.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent/related field experience preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years in banking operations, account services, or quality assurance roles.
    • Familiarity with core banking systems and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and identify inconsistencies.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software applications.
    • Must be able to understand and articulate components of automated processes and identify failed monitoring and resolve exceptions.

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a business casual office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
