Responsibilities
• Load and unload trailers in a fast-paced crossdock environment using a forklift and power pallet jacks.
• Operate dockstocker forklifts to move, stage, and organize pallets in designated areas.
• Use end rider and walkie power pallet jacks (single and double) to transport pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Handle materials safely while loading, unloading, and staging freight for shipment or further processing.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including moving product to and from dock doors and staging lanes.
• Use RF scanners to scan, track, and verify pallets and freight locations as required.
• Perform general warehouse duties such as packaging, palletizing, and organizing product when not operating equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines to prevent damage and ensure a safe work area.
• Lift and move items up to 50 lbs as part of daily material handling tasks.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work area on the dock and in staging zones.
Essential Skills
• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or crossdock environment.
• Hands-on experience using power pallet jacks, including end rider and walkie models.
• Ability to safely load and unload trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Material handling experience, including staging, organizing, and moving pallets.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes in a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with RF scanners for tracking and verifying freight.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with frequent trailer movements.
• Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and equipment care.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Previous experience in a crossdock facility is an asset.
• Background in general labor within a warehouse environment.
• Experience with packaging and palletizing products.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on the dock.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment as needed.

Work Environment
You work in a high-activity crossdock warehouse where trailers constantly arrive and depart and freight must be quickly loaded, unloaded, and staged. The role is approximately 85% equipment operation, primarily on forklifts and power pallet jacks (end rider and walkie), with additional general labor and material handling tasks. You use RF scanners and standard warehouse equipment daily. The facility operates multiple weekday shifts, with one shift running Monday to Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and another from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The environment is physically active, with frequent movement on and off equipment and regular lifting up to 50 lbs, and requires appropriate warehouse attire suitable for an industrial setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
