Baler/Forklift Operator

Job Title: Baler/Forlift Operator Reports To: Shift Supervisor Location: Berkeley, SC Status: Non-Exempt Summary: Hours from 7:00am - 3:30pm M-F, Saturdays as needed. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Baler/Forklift Operator weighs, label and document commodity bales, assist in tracking inventory, loads and unloads commodity trucks, and assist the Operations team in the cleaning of the plant. This position may need to fill in on the baler and/or other needs of the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: · Complete forklift inspection at beginning of and end of shift · Operate forklift in safe manner and be aware of pedestrian traffic · Weigh and record commodity bales weights · Stage and sort commodity bales on loading dock · Pick off-spec out of commodity bales · Load/unload incoming commodity trucks · Maintain loading dock cleanliness · Learn baler operations and assist when needed · Assist in the dumping hoppers and cleaning plant floor · Assist in other parts of plant as needed Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Moncks Corner, SC 29461 (Required) Work Location: In person
