Bakery Delivery Driver | Boulangerie Copain Boulangerie Copain is part of Noble Food & Pursuits, a chef driven hospitality group based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our bakery is centered around craftsmanship, scratch production, quality ingredients, and consistency. We are looking for a Bakery Delivery Driver to join our distribution team at $20 per hour . This is a full time early morning position working a set schedule of 3:00 AM to 11:00 AM . Candidates must be available and comfortable consistently working these hours. Weekend availability is required. Our bakery operates seven days a week, with daily deliveries throughout the Charlotte and Winston-Salem areas. Our delivery team plays an important role in ensuring that our fresh breads, delicate pastries, desserts, and other bakery products reach our wholesale customers and restaurant locations safely, on time, and in excellent condition. Proper loading, careful handling, safe driving, and accurate deliveries are essential to maintaining the quality of our products from the bakery to their final destination. This position also involves regular interaction with our wholesale customers. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details, and understands the importance of clear communication. Whether it's a delivery concern, customer feedback, or information that the bakery team should be aware of, keeping everyone informed helps us maintain strong relationships and deliver consistent service. Previous delivery or route driving experience is preferred, but we are also interested in candidates who demonstrate reliability, strong organizational skills, and a genuine sense of responsibility. What You'll Do Carefully load, organize, and secure delicate pastries, desserts, artisan breads, and other bakery products to prevent damage during transportation Safely operate delivery vehicles while completing assigned routes throughout the Charlotte and Winston-Salem areas Verify orders, quantities, and delivery destinations before leaving the bakery Ensure products are delivered to the correct location, on time, and in excellent condition Follow customer-specific delivery instructions, including designated receiving areas and proper product placement Interact professionally and courteously with wholesale customers and restaurant teams Communicate promptly with bakery leadership regarding damaged products, missing items, delivery delays, customer concerns, or other issues that arise Share customer feedback, delivery observations, and important information with the bakery team Maintain accurate delivery records and follow established delivery procedures Maintain a clean, organized delivery vehicle Follow food safety, sanitation, and safe driving standards Assist with staging, loading, and additional bakery logistics as needed What We're Looking For Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to consistently work the set 3:00 AM to 11:00 AM schedule Weekend availability required Previous delivery, distribution, or route driving experience preferred Strong attention to detail when handling and transporting delicate bakery products Ability to safely and efficiently complete daily delivery routes Strong organizational and time management skills Clear communication and a customer service focused approach Comfortable interacting with wholesale customers and restaurant teams Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with bakery leadership Dependable, punctual, and committed to completing deliveries accurately Ability to lift, carry, load, and unload bakery products throughout the shift Comfortable with the physical requirements of loading, transporting, and delivering bakery products Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Compensation Package: Hourly pay Expe…
