Bakery Associate/General Labour

Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Laborer and bakery associates to join our team in a dynamic food service environment. This role is essential for supporting daily operations, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a smooth production . The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, basic food handling knowledge, and excellent time management skills. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, sanitation, and customer service within a fast-paced setting. Duties Assist with food preparation tasks following safety and sanitation standards Working at line with other coworkers in a fast pace environment Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and ingredient organization Job includes production, packaging, sorting, picking. labeling and packaging. Must be able to weight 5-15kg. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment Ensure proper food safety practices are followed at all times Manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated shifts Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed Support sanitation procedures to meet health regulations and standards Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation procedures Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to up sell menu items to enhance customer experience and sales performance Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $17.60 per hour Benefits: On-site parking Work Location: In person
