Backroom Associate

Position Summary Paw Patrol Dayton LLC is seeking a reliable and organized Backroom Associate to help manage supplies, merchandise, and everyday materials that support the company's operations. This position focuses on receiving deliveries, organizing stored items, keeping inventory areas in order, and making sure products and supplies are easy to locate when needed. The successful candidate will assist with routine stockroom activities and help maintain an efficient, clean, and safe workspace. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is comfortable working as part of a team. Responsibilities Receive incoming deliveries and check items against packing slips or order information. Sort and organize merchandise, supplies, and materials in designated storage areas. Maintain orderly shelves, storage bins, and backroom spaces. Assist with unpacking boxes and preparing items for storage or distribution. Monitor stock levels and notify the appropriate team member when supplies need replenishment. Update basic inventory records and report discrepancies when identified. Retrieve requested items and prepare them for use by other team members. Apply labels and organize products to make identification and retrieval easier. Keep backroom areas clean, accessible, and free of unnecessary clutter. Report damaged, missing, or misplaced items to the appropriate supervisor. Provide general assistance with stockroom organization and daily operational tasks. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. No previous experience required; training will be provided. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and complete routine tasks. Basic computer skills for simple inventory updates. Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a team environment. Ability to lift and move boxes and supplies as part of regular duties, with reasonable accommodation as needed.
