About DelGate Logistics DelGate Logistics is a rapidly growing Canadian 3PL company specializing in warehousing, fulfillment, and last-mile delivery services for large and bulky products. Position Overview We are seeking a Back-End Developer to build, maintain, and support core back-end services for our logistics, warehouse, and delivery platform operating across North America. This role is ideal for an engineer who excels at building reliable APIs in Go, collaborating on database structures, and working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities API & Service Development: Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs primarily in Go, with secondary support for legacy Node.js components. Database Management: Write, maintain, and optimize queries and data models across MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with frontend and mobile developers to support clean data integration across systems. Integrations: Implement new platform features and integrate third-party logistics and delivery APIs. Deployment & CI/CD: Support build and deployment workflows using Docker Swarm and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. Code Quality & Maintenance: Maintain clean, well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and help troubleshoot operational bugs. Requirements & Qualifications Experience: 2+ years of professional back-end development experience. Core Tech: Hands-on experience building production services with Go (Golang). Legacy Support: Working knowledge of Node.js. Databases: Hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL in production. DevOps Basics: Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins). Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
