Backup Delivery Driver (1099 Contractor) – We provide the Cargo Van – You must have a reliable vehicle Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, flexible, and experienced Backup Delivery Driver to cover routes across various locations. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position starting at 3–4 guaranteed days per week . If you are a top performer with an excellent attitude and perfect attendance, this role offers a direct path to a guaranteed full-week paid position (subject to specific performance rules and conditions). Requirements Experience: Must have proven experience driving a full-size cargo van . Preferred Experience: Past experience with Amazon delivery or similar high-volume courier services is highly preferred. Vehicle Requirement: Must own a reliable personal vehicle that gets at least 25 MPG in the city . Some deliveries will require you to use your own vehicle. Flexibility: Must be highly flexible and willing to cover different routes and locations as needed. Reliability: Strong communication, a positive attitude, and impeccable attendance are non-negotiable. Back Up Driver Compensation & Hours Pay: $200 per day Schedule: Guaranteed 3–4 days a week (Must be flexible with scheduling) Additional Compensation: Extra pay provided for long commutes Growth Opportunity: Proven drivers with great attendance, a positive attitude, and excellent on-the-road performance will be considered for a transition to a different position offering guaranteed full-week pay (specific conditions and rules apply).
