What you’ll do: Eaton’s Commercial Products and Assemblies division is currently seeking a Coordinator, Back Storeroom to join our team. This position is based out of our Sumter, SC facility. The primary function of this role is to provide operational support, coordination, and subject matter expertise to the Storeroom team. The Storeroom Coordinator will support Storeroom Supervision by coordinating daily activities to help ensure all material handling processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner to meet customer needs. This role will serve as a key point of contact for the storeroom, assisting with process execution, troubleshooting issues, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, and collaborating with internal and external customers to support operational requirements. The Storeroom Coordinator is responsible for maintaining process compliance and supporting inventory accuracy, material flow, and customer service objectives. Additionally, they will assist with training coordination, cross-shift communication, cycle count activities, reporting, and the resolution of material-related issues. Through effective coordination and communication, this role will help drive operational efficiency and support the achievement of production, quality, and service goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Coordinate with production teams to procure required materials and components, including breakers, to support production schedules. Process and complete all NCMRs accurately and route them to the appropriate parties by the end of each day. Coordinate and execute cycle counts as requested by Purchasing and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy. Review and process kit checks to ensure materials are complete and available for production. Participate in Tier 2 meetings and communicate material, inventory, and operational issues as needed. Review and maintain the Clear Dock Report, ensuring timely resolution of open items and material concerns. Perform process checks and audits to ensure compliance with storeroom procedures and inventory control standards. Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and other departments to resolve material-related issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or materials processing experience required. Prior work experience using a computer, including competence in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Forklift experience. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Sumter (50 miles) will be considered for this position. Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without company sponsorship PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous leadership experience is strongly preferred. Prior experience with AS400, Vista and DMM computer programs. Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills with individuals and groups to effectively participate within a team environment.
