Morning Shift 1: 10/11am to 2/3PM and weekends and Sat or Sun or both 10-3PM. Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Baby Gear Expert and Retail Help! In this lively role, you will be the go-to specialist for all things baby gear, providing expert advice and exceptional customer service to help families find the perfect products for their little ones. Your enthusiasm, product knowledge, and friendly approach will create a welcoming shopping experience, inspiring confidence and trust with every interaction. Whether assisting customers on the sales floor or demonstrating product features, you’ll play a vital role in making shopping enjoyable and informative for every family that walks through our doors. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance with baby gear selections, ensuring they find the best solutions for their needs Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits of various baby gear items such as strollers, car seats, cribs, and accessories Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and maintaining an attractive store environment Process transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment with accuracy and professionalism Support upselling initiatives by recommending complementary products and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction Maintain knowledge of current product inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment to ensure availability Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions via phone or in person, demonstrating strong communication skills and phone etiquette Qualifications Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment involving customer interaction and product knowledge Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, retail math, and cashiering procedures to ensure smooth transactions Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for sales transactions and inventory management Knowledge of baby gear products or willingness to learn about current trends and safety standards Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to build rapport with families seeking guidance on their purchases Join us in creating memorable shopping experiences for families while sharing your passion for baby products!
