We are adding to the Delivery team! We have an immediate opening for an AZ Truck Driver Long Haul to join our team. Transportation: No Public Transit Available (must have own vehicle) ***Please note our facility locates at 7 Industrial Ave. Carleton Place. Hours of Work: 41.5 per week – Mon to Thurs 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Fri 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (hours may be extended to complete deliveries based on traffic volumes, customer distance, and customer requirements) Summary As an AZ Truck Driver Long Haul, you’ll transport Laurysen Kitchens products and freight on long-haul routes. Your impact: Reliable deliveries help customers and receiving teams get cabinetry when expected and keep their work moving. Responsibilities Operate a commercial truck to transport freight on long-haul routes. Secure and protect loads for transport. Complete required vehicle and load checks before and during trips. Follow road safety requirements and applicable regulations. Coordinate delivery details with relevant company and receiving contacts. Load customer orders (cabinets, counter tops, etc.) and secure load for safe and damage free travel | delivery | unload at residential, new home build construction site and customer locations. Operate in accordance with licensing and traffic rules, regulations, requirements Report load status, conduct daily pre-use vehicle inspection, vehicle log records, incident reports Responsible for vehicle care including light maintenance such as cleaning, topping up fluids, tire air pressure, etc.) Abide by all company safety standards, policies and legislative regulations Experience: Manual transmission: 1 year (required) AZ truck long haul: 3 years (required) Qualifications Required: AZ licence and commercial driving capability for long-haul work. Required: Ability to handle freight safely and responsibly.
