AZ Truck Driver for City Work
ConfidentialJob Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced AZ Truck Driver specialized in city work to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting freight within GTA area, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair will be essential to keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Safely operate an AZ-class truck for city deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. No driver assist required. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance or safety issues promptly. Manage freight documentation accurately, including delivery logs, manifests, and inspection reports. Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting to address mechanical issues during routes. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues. Maintain a clean and organized truck interior and exterior, ensuring compliance with safety standards at all times. Qualifications Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record and min. one year experience in commercial driving within urban environments. Demonstrated ability to haul 53' dry vans. Knowledge of automotive repair basics to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and city driving regulations. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively.
