Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks equipped for cross-border freight shipments, adhering to all transportation laws and safety standards Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring secure handling of cargo Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Manage documentation for shipments, including customs paperwork, delivery logs, and freight manifests Communicate effectively with dispatchers, border officials, and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain vehicle reliability Maintain accurate records of all freight movements, inspections, and maintenance activities Requirements Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with cross-border freight knowledge Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment used for loading and unloading cargo Knowledge of customs procedures and border crossing regulations Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot vehicle issues Strong attention to detail for safety inspections and documentation accuracy Physical capability to handle loading/unloading tasks and operate heavy machinery safely Embark on a rewarding career where your skills drive success!
