AZ Truck Driver/Bulk Tank Milk Grader- Part-time/Weekend
Blue Water Milk Transport Co-opBlue Water Milk Transport Co-operative has been operating for almost 60 years, safely and efficiently delivering bulk, raw milk from resident dairy producers to local processors. We are currently looking to hire one part-time Bulk Tank Milk Grader/AZ driver to work out of our Strathroy location (every other weekend) . As a Bulk Tank Milk Grader, (BTMG) you will be responsible for the grading, loading, transportation and delivery of bulk milk. Responsibilities include: Utilizing BTMG training to grade and load milk at producer locations, guaranteeing premium quality milk Delivering to plant destinations throughout Southwestern Ontario Operating equipment as per standard operating procedures, maintaining quality and cleanliness Moderate physical requirements, including lifting and climbing What we offer: Stable and consistent work Competitive hourly wages ($33.65 Mon-Fri), plus weekend shift premiums ($42.06) Workwear and boot allowance Flexible scheduling to accommodate most personal needs Anticipated 10-12-hour shifts All local daytime routes allowing drivers to be home every night Paid on-the-job BTMG training What you offer: Current AZ class license Clean drivers abstract and CVOR Reliability Flexibility and willingness to adapt to new and unforeseen circumstances Analytical skills, including attention to detail and accuracy Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with management, shop foreman, producers, receivers and fellow drivers in a professional and courteous manner Ability to work independently and perform duties with limited supervision Farm background or previous agricultural experience an asset Mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues an asset Interested applicants are invited to submit their resume for consideration.
