AZ Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Transport freight efficiently and securely across designated routes, ensuring on-time delivery. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, identifying any mechanical issues or safety concerns. Utilize forklift equipment when necessary for loading and unloading freight, maintaining proper safety procedures. Perform basic automotive repairs or coordinate with maintenance teams to address vehicle malfunctions promptly. Maintain accurate delivery logs, freight documentation, and compliance records for each trip. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues swiftly. Qualifications Valid AZ commercial driver’s license Clean Driver Abstract/CVOR Abstract Min. 3 years experience in commercial driving, preferably within freight or logistics industries. (B-Train experience an asset) Proficiency in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts. Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting common vehicle issues. Ability to perform forklift operations safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
