Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Long Haul Driver to join our team. This position plays a key role in transporting commercial vehicles between Canada and the USA. You will be entrusted with ensuring safe, timely, and compliant deliveries across long distances.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate commercial vehicles equipped with manual transmissions (10-, 13-, or 18-speed)
• Complete assigned long-haul and/or commercial runs in a timely and compliant manner
• Ensure full compliance with MTO, CVOR, and FMCSA regulations, including cross-border requirements
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report defects as required
• Maintain accurate logs, trip records, and required documentation
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and enforcement officials
• Operate independently while maintaining high safety and performance standards
Requirements
• Valid AZ or DZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) 4 years verify experience.
• MANDATORY: Minimum 3 years of manual transmission experience (10-, 13- or 18-speed) – no “automatic-only” restriction
• Proven long-haul or commercial truck driving experience Canada / USA
• Clean and current CVOR and Driver’s Abstract
• Criminal Record Check required
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and cross-border (Canada/USA) compliance
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism at all times
• Automotive or mechanical knowledge and/or ability to operate heavy equipment is an asset
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Deliver tanker trucks containing hazardous residue
• Fly to destinations within Canada or the USA for the next vehicle pickup
• Operate Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) trucks
• Transport oversized trucks under escort and permit conditions
