AZ Driver - US/Long Haul

Duties Safely operate commercial trucks over long distances across the US, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Manage freight loading and unloading, utilizing forklift skills when necessary to handle heavy or bulky cargo. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and mileage logs for compliance and reporting purposes. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse teams, and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve any logistical issues promptly. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other automotive repair tools to facilitate freight handling when required. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, freight handling, and vehicle maintenance to prevent accidents or damage. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with long-haul routes across multiple states. Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL certification is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Knowledge of freight handling procedures, including loading/unloading techniques and securing cargo for transit. Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues on the road. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, dispatchers, and clients effectively.
