AZ Driver (Manual)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled AZ Driver (Manual) to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, including manual transmission trucks, to transport freight efficiently and securely. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and timely deliveries. The AZ Driver (Manual) will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods across various routes while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Safely operate AZ licensed trucks with manual transmissions to transport freight across assigned routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues. Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly. Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during operations. Requirements Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial driving, specifically experience operating manual transmission trucks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment. Excellent communication skills and reliability in meeting deadlines. Pay: $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 – 65.0 per week Benefits: Casual dress On-site parking Work Location: In person
