Overview We are seeking a dependable AZ Driver/ Owner Operator to transport dry freight trailers safely and efficiently while providing professional service at pickup and delivery locations. This role involves commercial driving, vehicle and load inspections, and coordination with dispatch and customers. Paid employment; schedule and route details will be discussed during the hiring process. Duties Operate an AZ-class commercial vehicle in compliance with applicable traffic laws, safety standards, and hours-of-service requirements. Pick up and deliver dry freight trailers and box trucks to and from customer locations. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report vehicle, equipment, or cargo concerns promptly. Coordinate with dispatch and receiving locations regarding routes, schedules, delays, and delivery requirements. Maintain accurate trip, inspection, and delivery records. Take trailers to the scale to be weighed Keep the vehicle and work area clean and follow safe practices around freight, heavy equipment, and loading areas. Qualifications Valid AZ driver’s licence and a safe driving record. Experience in commercial driving and freight transportation is preferred. Ability to follow safe load-handling procedures and complete required inspections and documentation. Basic automotive repair or mechanical knowledge is an asset. Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and coworkers.
