Duties
• Safely operate commercial trucks equipped for freight transportation, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load, unload, and secure freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment to ensure safe transit
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records
• Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime
• Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure proper handling of freight and documentation accuracy
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to confirm delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly
Experience
• Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record demonstrating safe driving habits
• Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with freight or heavy equipment operation
• Knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures is highly desirable
• Familiarity with freight handling procedures and securing loads for transit
• Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot common mechanical problems
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and comply with safety protocols at all times
