AZ Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced AZ Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. As an AZ Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and delivering freight across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving. Your role is vital in ensuring timely, secure, and compliant transportation of goods, with a focus on refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials, and specialized cargo. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving expertise while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated and flatbed trucks, on OTR routes while maintaining compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and ensure accurate deliveries Transport hazardous materials (Hazmat) and dangerous goods following hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols Manage automobile transportation tasks when required, including loading, securing, and delivering vehicles Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and cargo to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit Requirements Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving Ability to handle manual transmission trucks and perform manual handling of freight safely Experience with logistics cargo handling, truck loading/unloading, and freight management Strong understanding of GPS navigation tools for efficient route planning Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, manual handling proficiency, and adherence to all DOT regulations Ability to work independently on long-distance OTR routes while maintaining high safety standards Join us as an AZ Driver to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering excellence in transportation.
