AZ Company Truck Driver

Hensall Global provides freight transportation services and logistics solutions to our global customer base. We are seeking an AZ Company Truck Driver to join our team. This is a full-time position, with steady work, a highly competitive wage, group benefits, pension and much more! We are located in Hensall, Ontario. You will be required to load daily in Hensall, Ontario and travel to the GTA, up to two trips per day. What is in it for you: Steady work and highly competitive wage. Safety clothing and work boot allowance Duties and Responsibilities: Pin-to-pin transportation of ocean containers between Hensall, Ontario and GTA, up to two trips per day. Loading/unloading and transportation of various bulk commodities. Responsible for complying with all company and road safety laws, rules and regulations, including paperwork, pre-trip inspections, daily logs and hours of service. Keep the truck clean and in safe working condition. Inspect cleanliness of containers/bulk trailers to ensure food safety standards are met. Positive and professional attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with all team members and customers. Understand and follow all safety procedures and policies. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent oral, written and math skills. Minimum 3-5 years driving experience. Previous transportation experience of ocean containers and experience in agricultural settings are assets. Must have and maintain a valid AZ driver’s licence. Keen attention to detail and effective organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to plan, take initiative and problem solve. Proven ability to own and manage deliverables and deadlines.
