Avemar groupJob Summary Avemar Group is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Aviation Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and organization are extremely important. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, documenting, and shipping aircraft parts and components while helping ensure that all necessary paperwork and records are accurate. Previous shipping and receiving experience is preferred, and Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred. Aviation experience is a plus but is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. After 90 days (3 months) , employees will receive a performance review, with the opportunity for an increase in hourly pay based on performance and progress. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming aircraft parts, components, and other shipments. Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and accompanying documentation. Accurately record and organize received materials and paperwork. Prepare outgoing aircraft parts and components for shipment. Properly package, label, and protect parts to prevent damage during transportation. Coordinate shipments with carriers such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, freight companies, and other logistics providers. Track incoming and outgoing shipments and provide updates when necessary. Maintain organized shipping, receiving, and storage areas. Assist with inventory counts and ensure parts are stored in their proper locations. Verify part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, and documentation for accuracy. Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records. Assist with order fulfillment, packing, labeling, and general warehouse activities. Communicate with sales, purchasing, quality, and other departments regarding incoming and outgoing material. Follow company procedures and aviation quality requirements when handling aircraft components. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. Assist with additional warehouse and operational duties as needed. Qualifications & Experience Shipping and receiving experience preferred. Spanish preferred. Aviation or aerospace experience is a plus, but not required . High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable working with computers, email, and basic data entry. Ability to accurately read and verify part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, and shipping documentation. Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers, customers, and shipping providers. Ability to work independently while also being part of a team. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Ability to safely lift and move packages and aircraft components as required. Why Join Avemar Group?
