The Responsibility As our Aviation Logistics Expediter, you will be the backbone of our operations. Your role is twofold: ensuring our inventory logistics are seamless and performing the hands-on preparation/refurbishment of certified aviation components. We need someone who can jump between logistics software and a parts-cleaning station without missing a beat. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Logistics: Lead the ordering, receiving, and meticulous organization of aviation parts and components. You’ll be the point person for keeping our stock levels accurate and accessible. Component Refurbishment: Get hands-on with aviation hardware. You will be responsible for the cleaning, preparation, and refurbishing of FAA certified components to exacting standards. Workspace Stewardship: Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the inventory and preparation areas, facilitating a safe, tidy, efficient shop. Professional Liaison: Conduct yourself with professionalism during phone calls, emails, and in-person visits with vendors, distributors, and partners. Warranty Execution: When new aviation components aren’t up to our strict standards, you’ll be working with our vendors and distributors and their processes to secure exchanges and repairs to keep up with production and lessees’ satisfaction. Aviation Engine Disassembly: The beginning of FAA certified engine overhauls starts with the foundational disassembly process. You’ll be trained by FAA certified mechanics on engine disassembly and the following logistics of the individual parts. Qualifications: Scrupulous & Conscientious: You understand that in aviation, details matter. You take pride in doing the job right the first time. Mechanically Inclined: You’re comfortable with tools and heavy machinery and have a natural "feel" for how things function. Proactive & Determined: You don't wait to be told what to do. If you see a shelf that needs organizing or a part that needs refurbishment, you handle it. Physically Capable: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain active throughout the day. Tech-Savvy: Proficient with basic Windows and Chromebook operations and ability to learn new software. A Great Communicator: You can write a clear, professional email, hold your own in a business conversation, and collaborate across team-based software. High school diploma or equivalent. Reliable, independent transportation to and from work site locations. Preferred Experience: Prior experience in aviation parts/logistics or aviation maintenance. Experience…
