Job description: About The Role The Buyer focuses on providing comprehensive support to the Purchasing Department. The role demands excellent organization, positive relationship skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities Negotiates and purchases materials, supplies, and equipment from vendors according to program and company needs Ensures materials and supplies meet industry and company standards. Develops and maintains positive relationships with vendors. Maintains MRP system for purchasing Assist with supplier management, to include supplier research, appraisal, and negotiation Monitors inventory for supply and demand and makes appropriate adjustments Reports on the status of orders and shipments.
