The AV & Technology Project Operations Manager is responsible for the management of the Global Technology Solutions (GTS) team tasks, and deliverables on active GTS proposals (services and resale), as well as projects in the execution stage.

Reporting to the Senior Director - Global Technology Solutions, this role is a key interface between the GTS team and the various groups within the rest of the organization. This is both an Operational and a Project Management role. As such, this role oversees the full project lifecycle—from proposal development and planning through execution, completion, and post‑sale follow‑up.

The AV & Technology Project Operations Manager ensures project profitability, manages change, and maintains strong communication with internal and external stakeholders. The role is also responsible for ensuring all of the deliverables form the GTS technical team are being provided in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage AV&T projects from pre‑sale through completion, including quoting, solution development, bookings, execution, and closeout.

  • Ensure that all of the GTS deliverables, including proposals and active (sold) projects are delivered within the appropriate timelines and scope.

  • Work closely with the GTS Technical team as they develop technical solutions and pricing. Ensure that the adequate quoting tools, terms and conditions and proposal formats follow established processes.

  • Work closely with the other Service teams as well as Sales and Project Management.in coordinating tasks and project deliverables.

  • Daily participation in the Control Room Services Triage calls, including providing updates on actions and deliverables

  • Review contract Terms & Conditions, identify potential risks, and escalate concerns to leadership.

  • Resolve project-related issues and remove barriers to progress.

  • Understand product and service capabilities, limitations and integration requirements.

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and activities, adjusting priorities as needed to meet deadlines.

  • Ensure that Evans processes and projects gates are followed closely.

  • Demonstrate mastery of internal processes, procedures and documentation standards.

  • Support ISO Quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.


Other Duties Include

  • Ongoing development of processes and automation tools related to the GTS team.


Relationships

  • Works closely with cross‑functional internal teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders.


Goals

  • Ensure that the GTS team’s deliverables are met while ensuring accuracy, risk mitigation for Evans and provide the solution that is appropriate for the given application.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager with experience in AV or IT related projects.


Education/Experience

  • College diploma or university degree in AV, IT, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.

  • Understanding of AV&T integration from design to execution.

  • Experience in 24/7 Mission Critical applications is an asset

  • PMP Certified or PMI training.

  • Experience in inside sales, pre-sales engineering, or customer service is an asset.

  • Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings.

  • Knowledge of Audio Visual and KVM systems, preferably in a mission critical environment

  • Understanding of IT systems on a high level and integration of multiple networks.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Ability to develop and manage project Gantt charts.

  • Consistent adherence to internal processes and procedures.
