Automotive Yard Inventory & Parts Assistant — Entry Level

AMI CENTER x MY AUTO PARTS is expanding its automotive parts inventory operation in Fresno! We're looking for hardworking, dependable, motivated individuals who are ready to work, follow instructions, and help organize and digitize a large automotive dismantling yard. This is a hands-on, physical position. Much of the work takes place outdoors, including during hot Central Valley weather. No automotive experience is required. We provide paid hands-on training during the introductory period. Daily Responsibilities Walk assigned areas of the automotive yard and document vehicles one by one. Photograph VIN numbers and vehicle identification labels. Take clear exterior and interior vehicle photographs. Photograph engines, transmissions, headlights, wheels, and other automotive parts. Upload and organize photographs using a company-provided smartphone and Google Drive. Record stock numbers and inventory locations. Help label, sort, organize, and locate automotive parts. Assist with preparing parts for photographs, packaging, and shipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow daily assignments and productivity standards. Assist with other general yard, inventory, and warehouse tasks as assigned. Additional Opportunities As employees become familiar with operations, they may also assist with: eBay and Facebook Marketplace listings. Customer service and basic sales. Product photography. Shipping and order preparation. Local business outreach and approved promotional activities. Qualifications Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Able to follow instructions and work independently. Comfortable performing physical work outdoors. Comfortable walking and standing throughout the workday. Able to use a smartphone and take clear photographs. Organized and detail-oriented. Willing to learn and improve. Experience with automotive parts, online selling, shipping, or customer service is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Compensation & Schedule Starting pay is $16.90 per hour, with adjustments as required by applicable minimum wage laws. Paid introductory training. Preferred weekday schedule, generally 9 AM–4 PM. Saturdays and Sundays normally off. Occasional weekend shifts may be offered with advance notice. Hours may vary according to business needs. Opportunity for continued employment and advancement.
